Robin brings her 24 years plus of business development, sales and marketing experience to the mix at PS Communications. She is presently responsible for client services, media relations and overseeing new business development for the agency.
She most recently worked as a consultant for Allied Van Lines, Special Products Division for nine years. While at Allied, Robin created, launched and managed a number of programs: Raising Our Sales lead program for the Special Products Division, which contributed to increased revenues; SPD Vision, a quarterly newsletter directed to Special Products Agents; and Momentum, an electronic newsletter directed to National Accounts.
Robin has managed sales and marketing activities for JSH&A, a public relations firm in Oak Brook. During her stint there, she supervised the Subway’s “Heroes for Hunger” campaign, which was awarded a “Silver Trumpet” from Publicity Club of Chicago. Clients included Allied Van Lines, Discovery Zone, Jiffy Lube, Subway, Riddell, Oscar Mayer Foods and Whirlpool Corporation.
She was a full line sales representative for GE Medical and sold MRI machines, CAT Scans, and X-ray machines to hospitals. Prior to GE, Robin experienced the explosive growth of Apple Computer from 1983 until 1991. She was responsible for $5.5 million in business within two major accounts: Northwestern University and University of Notre Dame and grew the revenue by 34% and more than doubled the units sold in one year.
