Tamera brings a diverse creative background and more than 16 years’ experience in all facets of creative development, art direction and design. Tamera’s portfolio includes brand identity, brochure development, print advertising, design and direct mail experience for both start-up ventures and Fortune 100 Companies.
Prior to joining P.S. Communications, Tamera worked at the Nordstrom corporate office in Seattle and its regional office in Oak Brook, IL. During her six years there, Tamera wore many hats on the sales promotion team. Tamera’s fingerprints can be traced to Nordstrom catalogs, national print, in-store signage and music, the “Loop” corporate newsletter as well as executive presentations and leadership materials.
Tamera also assisted the large direct mail production manager in the deadline and budget conscious world of retail advertising. She managed a staff of production/color specialists, facilitated timelines and oversaw technical prepress and printing relationships. She helped produce magazine ads, catalogs, mailers, shopping bags and outdoor advertising for the corporate advertising department. She managed projects from concept through color separation and participated in press approvals to ensure Nordstrom quality.
Prior to Nordstrom she worked as an art director for LKH&S where she provided creative development and production services for this 20-person Chicago agency. There she formulated initial concepts and executed projects for Navistar International, Ameritech, Outboard Marine Corporation, Pioneer Hi-Bred, Pyro Industries and Hewitt & Associates.
Tamera’s energy and passion are a true asset to P.S. Communications. She has the ability to set vision and drive concepts and strategies through the entire creative and development process.
